I am primarily a watercolor painter, but have recently been using collage and assorted water media in my work. During the time of Covid I have been painting flowers, vegetables and weeds from my garden. I also paint bears, an occasional moose, otter or chipmunk. I appreciate the love of life, color and light. I believe that being an observer of one’s surroundings is an important part of being an artist. In my paintings I attempt to put the feeling or essence of what I have seen into forms that others may enjoy.
